House Rules
A valid Government issued ID, required at Check-in/or before, by text. Show ID (photographed w/agreement) upon arrival. Guest must notify Host if bringing in concealed weapons/cameras/recording devices into unit before reservation and purpose of usage. There are serval wastebaskets around the house: the toilet is not one of them. Quiet time: 11pm-6am. It's okay to come and go, just be quiet, and we will too! Keep front gate locked at all times @ OMBB Location - Do not leave open! NO additional Guest(s) allowed on original or modified reservation/Lease (no overnight stays). Extra guest fee: After 1 guest/family, $150 per person, per night (all locations). No sharing of digital codes with anyone not listed on reservation and Lease. I do not accommodate any individuals with special medical needs, because it's too overwhelming for me. The Bronzeville/Hyde Park area is rich in amazing history and is one of the greatest & most CULTURALLY DIVERSE neighborhoods in Chicago. Guaranteed Rate Field Stadum, home of the White Sox is close by, and they set off fireworks at their games that sounds like cannons, explosives.

Due to long-term stays during these uncertain times all rules apply to all locatons: *I require guest(s) to sign a Rental Disclaimer, show ID (photographed w/agreement) upon arrival. Lease tenants must supply employment verification, rate of pay. background check (you pay). *Security Cameras are legally placed in front and back and deck entrances in common areas only and will be active during your stay! Tampered, Blocked or Damaged Fine is $1K each. Lost keys $125 per key $375 to re-key home. Street parking: Beware of street sweeping signs to avoid violation/parking ticket. HVAC is on auto. Call for adjustment(s) or even extra blankets (located closet "top" shelf). Wifi Information found in desk drawer workstation. Individual heating unit in your private room, bathroom, and fireplace in the Living-room (@ *UNIQUE locations 1-2). Use bathmat for your safety. First-Aid-kit located in bathroom vanity drawer. Septic system uses Scott’s 1-ply-toilet tissue only. I do not accommodate any individuals with special medical needs, because it's too overwhelming for me. I will supply "starter essentials" (paper goods, cleaning supplies, toiletries) while settling in -1st week - for your special tea, coffee, sugar, kitchen roll, olive oil and spices is at your expense) - check my Guidebook for the nearest stores where you may replenish your supplies https://www.airbnb.com/manage-guidebook/292893. Fire Extinguisher found bottom kitchen cabinet mounted. Self-check-in and check-out. Electronic Keypad. Passcode issued upon arrival. I may or may not issue keys. If keys are issued: upon departure leave them in the “any kitchen drawer", table/or "dresser drawer" in your bedroom. Keys out of your possession/lost are at your expense (cash) to re-key home, and $125 for each lost/damaged remote. FYI: Lawncare comes on Tuesdays (weather permitting). And on Saturday mornings the neighbors maintain their Lawns, it can be noisy. Also, neighborhood festivals and parades can be loud on Holidays/Special Days, as well on main streets. Garbage pick-up is also Tuesday mornings (any garbage you have should be placed in bins by Monday evenings). Go out back-door (no key needed) … Black Bins for trash, Blue Bin for recycling directly up the stairs to the left (@ *Unique 1-2 locations). *For the OMBB location go out of front-door to alley… Black Bins for trash, Blue Bin for recycling. And for the Ahh-mazing home location use the garden level door through the garage door to alley for blue bin clearly marked D-Unit in alley - use your garbage bin only! Cleaning products under bathroom sink, and broom/dustpan/shovel in Washer/Dryer area/pantry area. Seasonally clean your walk/entryways for safety. Do not turn-off/unscrew outdoor lights it's on for your safety. Call for vacuum cleaner. The Electrical Box is located in the Garden Units as well as certain maintenance supplies for the entire home, and in case of emergencies: I will have to *access the space, when necessary (and rarely), according to City of Chicago (Mun.Code ch. 5-12-080). In order to accommodate/handle/repair request(s) you must give permission to enter at time of your request(s) to evaluate the nature of the issue... also, these things will be *discussed with you upon arrival and will give prior notice by text/call. We are committed to an enhanced cleaning and sanitation routine, and we practice social distancing and encourage Guest(s) to do the same. Desiring a harmonious peaceful environment.
